Did you know?
(1) One half of Asian adults are lactose-intolerant and that includes me. Tsk.
(2) Dogs cannot differentiate the scents of twins. They smell the same to them.
(3) There was a shrinking penis 'disease' in some cultures, called 'Koro'.
Happened in Singapore during the 1960s-70s. If you don't believe me, ask your parents, especially your dad.
(4) We (Homo Sapiens) are all born with about 300-350 bones in the body. And when we grow, some of the bones fuse together. Depending on the method in which you count bones as separate, we have generally 206 or 208 bones when you're a full grown adult.
(5) We generally have a wider visual field on our right side than our left (Which means we see more things on our right side), because we are used to reading from left to right. In cultures where they are used to reading in the opposite direction, they have a larger left visual field.
(6) Some idiots think that sharks are mammals.
(7) Strawberry is not a fruit, it's a receptacle.

(10) There is a village in Wales (country that is part of the United Kingdom) called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (58 letters), which in English means "Saint Mary's Church in the hollow of white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of Saint Tysilio near the red cave." The locals call it Llanfairpwll.
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.com is the longest single word .com domain name in the world.
Try saying that 5 times. HAHAHAHA.
(11) Today the Pyramids of Giza look like large sandy pyramid-shaped mountains. But when they were first constructed around 2500 BC, the pyramids were paper white and as smooth as glass, and topping the pyramid was a golden capstone that gleamed in the desert sun.
The pyramids somewhat stayed in this state until the Arab invasion of Egypt around AD 500.
The Arab invaders stripped the pyramid of it's smooth limestone and built a huge section of Cairo. Many of the Mosques and Palaces of Cairo consist of the Ancient stones of the pyramids.TSK.

(14) There are some species of Caterpillars which are carnivorous.

(16) The average chocolate bar in the U.S. contains at least 8 pieces of an insect in it. Harvesting of the cacao beans occurs in the tropical countries of South America with low sanitation levels. Cacao tree beans are cut and piled in the farmer's field where they ferment for 6 days. During this process, children and adults walk over the piles and insects, rodents, small animals and other living things sometimes make their nests in the piles. Yucks.
Actually the The U. S. Department of Health publishes a book entitled "The Food Defect Action Levels" in which they list unavoidable defects in food (insect, rodents etc.) all allowed by FDA.
WHAT THE HELL RIGHT!?
(17) In the Second World War, during the Blitzkrieg (Intense military campaign to have a swift victory. From the German word meaning 'Lightning War'.) campaign, German tanks were too fast and too powerful for Russian military. The Russians had an idea to train the dogs to carry bombs under the German tanks. The trainers would first starve the dogs (TSK!!), and then train them to find food under the tank.
Unfortunately, the dogs were trained under the Soviet tanks not the loud German diesel tanks. The plan backfired on Soviets, but they did manage to disable a reported 300 German tanks and a lot of their own tanks too. HAHAHAHA.
Classical Conditioning anyone?
(18) Octopuses, like us, have a dominant-hand preference.
There was a video of a captive Octopus playing with a Rubix cube and each time he was passed the cube, he'd use the same arm/s.
(19) Octopuses can squeeze into a hole the size of a coin.

By the way, today I saw Megan Fox at some premiere of Jennifer's Body on the Mobile TV on the 179 bus and she looked damn hot.
I was watching it with my mouth quite wide open unknowingly and I realised the guy next to me was watching me with the why-her-mouth-open-so-big look.
I quickly shut my mouth and swallowed the drool.
Okay, time to study. Ugh.
