I think I had an epiphany. I dreamed that I was in India, and this young girl was talking to me. Somehow in the dream it seemed like it was a documentary and this commentator was telling me that this Indian woman is a prostitute and has 8 kids, all girls, and 7 of which are child prostitutes too. I remember feeling very appalled by what I heard and I was thinking that I could do something to help, maybe try to ask the government to stop/prohibit/whatever this prostitution thing there.
This girl, she was one of the oldest of the eight kids and she's only 12. She was telling me not to, because if I did her mom would not be able to earn enough income for the family. I felt so bad for her. I mean, I know the only reason why they'd do that is because they don't have another choice to turn to. So that got me thinking. What if our own government or say our Prime Minister like donate a part of his salary to help these poor people? Like say, a miserable 5% of his 3.1 million dollars he's supposedly paid per year? HEY.
5% of that isn't little at all you know. It's a freaking S$155,000! HUH. And you go convert it to rupee or whatever and it may actually help 100 families or more! Hnn.
So I went to school today. It was raining cats and dogs, but luckily my father was very nice to fetch me there. Had my Intro to Public Policy lecture. Ohmygod. I made a new friend. I mean, I think I sorta knew him since the 2nd lecture, and he's always nice enough to say hi to me and all, but today we sorta finally talk/have a conversation with each other. And also, he was quite nice to walk me to the bus stop. Even though he said he had quite a lot of time before the next lesson.
And you know what's the best thing? My Intro to Public Policy teacher canceled the tutorial for tomorrow! Wuhoo! Oh Yea! But I gotta study and do my assignments though. Good time to catch up some lurvin' with my books. Dammit.
Okay, bye!

hilarious baby
I just woke up. I mean, I was dreaming halfway when my sis barged into the room and starting demanding me to wake up, without her usual kisses(damn irritating, I tell you) and asked me to answer the phone.
I remember the dream. It's so freaking weird. I dreamed that I was in my house with my parents and my eldest sister came over with her husband and Hele. Omg, then Mr Tan came in. With his assistant. As in the Mr Tan. My favourite Mr Tan that taught me art and wore CK electric like there's no tomorrow. I remember trying to trail behind him, trying to bask in the smell of the cologne but I couldn't smell a thing. And then came the assistant.
She gave me a what-are-you-lookin'-at-slut? face and followed him into the house.
And the house was by the sea. So not singapore-ish can. I asked what did he want for drinks then he told me his assistant will handle stuff and she gave me this killer look. Somehow in the dream I kinda knew she'd kill me or try to.
I was walking around the house and I was talking to my sisters when I told them about her and her plot to murder me. Then they gave me the look that she's behind you look so I turned around and saw her sitting there looking at me. Omg and I saw that she stucked some stupid yellow post-it on my shoulder, and was trying to kill me with a post-it-papercut to slash open my jugular and bleed to death! This entry is really stupid. But I can't believe I'll even dream of such a stupid dream. Seriously.
Anyway, I was surfing some stupid video on youtube when I went to search for parkour ones and found this vid by punchrobert.com's Urban Ninja. Even though he doesn't do parkour in them.
Crazy shit I tell you. I kept laughing at urban ninja two. He's dressed as this ninja and he goes around hiding in bushes and running out to scare people in the park, mall or whatever. And he even tried to stop a car and a dog. HAHA!!! The best part is the way he runs. You know, so stereotypical ninja-style. Like those period dramas(gu zhuang) and how those wu xia(kung-fu warrior) will run with one hand stretched out in front and the other I don't know where.
And I realised I've seen him somewhere. Turned out he's acted in She's the Man, Step Up 2 and You've Got Served. All 3 that I've watched before. His vids are damn funny. He has too-good acting skills and brilliant accents/slang whatever and a killer sense of humour. I nearly died watching the Soulmate.

By the way, MICHEAL PHELP'S ON KELLOGS CORN FLAKES CEREAL BOX! Cute.

Today.
I heard about the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics and that it was really nice. Feel a bit annoyed that I missed it. Must have been much better than our own NDP.
OMG. I think they should seriously sack the costume designer for the show. I think the only nice thing was the Black Knights doing the stunts and maybe the water fountains doing their 30m high displays.
Why aren't there female pilots?!
I'm not sure if I should join any cca. Thinking of either Touch Rugby again or Futsal. I don't even know if I'll have the time or want to commit to anything.
Quite sick of everything now. Feel really bored with everything.
Death Today
Crimson red it streams through the edge
A thousand wounds it bleeds from ravage
The emptiness that is deep inside
Even monsters hide from you in sight
When you've got nothing more to give
So we begin losing the will to live
This darkness that haunts at night
To the horror that shuns the light
Perverse pleasure we gain from cuts
Intense euphoria that stems through drugs
Death today, Death tomorrow, Death's today.

Pearls and going ons.
So I've had two proper day's of lessons and I'm already bored of school. Seriously, I'm still in the long-time-never-wake-up-early-for-anything mood. Ahhh.
Anyway. I spent my 2 days of no-school, which was Tuesday and Wednesday over stupid stuff. Seriously, I was busy trying to add the stupid courses on the bloody STARS system which is so not IT-idiot proof(for me) and there were literally no vacancies left. Bloody hell. And trying to study the Basic Theory book on Tuesday. I kept having the feeling that I was going to fail it, and when I read the stupid brochure saying that if I failed the BTT then I'd have to retake, everything.
What a really good way to earn our money right?
So I panicked then mug like a good JC student was supposed to mug for As that night. And on Wednesday I was supposed to go for the test then go town with Ms Tracy Lee. Haha. So I took this 105 bus near the Clementi MRT. Oh, I've really got to say that I'm so stupid. I should have started taking the driving lessons before I moved. I only needed to take 1 bus, but now it's so troublesome! Still have to switch buses!
So the 188 ride to the bbdc was freaking torturous and long. Nearly died of anxiety and hair loss. I was so stressed that I was driven to the point of pulling my hair to relieve the stress. Oh, and I had massive diarrhea too. All from the stress, you see. Haha.
Anyway, there I was, reaching damn bloody late and totally blur of what exactly to do. I thought I could just choose a place like I had to for the BTE and stuff when the traffic guy invigilating the room screamed, "EH GIRL, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING!?"
Then I think he pitied me because of my obvious inward cringe at the total embarrassment and he said, "Show me your IC."
I swear, he took the longest time to slowly check my IC photo against my face, and match my name against the stupid piece of paper printed. So I sat down and did my mantra, chanting like mad that I could do it and started doing the test.
Halfway, I was thirsty so I took out my bottle to have a drink. I was thinking very hard on a question so the opened bottle was still in my hand and my hand was resting on the table when...
"GIRL YOU BETTER CLOSE YOUR BOTTLE!!!!"
Shit. I bet he's out to embarrass me. Really.
Anyway, after that I felt very irritated with him and continued to do the test. Then suddenly, again...
"HEY YOU! KEEP YOUR EYES TO YOUR OWN SCREEN!!!"
I faster looked up and to my ill-concealed glee he scolded this Indian guy sitting right in front of me. That traffic guy is freaking scary, I tell you.
So I finished the test and pressed the END TEST button and prayed like a mad pig on steroids and I PASSED!!!!! So happy. I just stood up damn quickly and skipped to the door. I was thinking whether I should ask the traffic guy if I was supposed to do anything but I suddenly had the image of him screaming instructions at me in front of the class so I left.
Called Tracy and we decided to go her house first. Took the bus and I read the stupid piece of paper they gave us telling us what to do after passing the test and realised I didn't print the result! So I panicked and got off the bus. Then I called Tracy. She said it's not urgent so I thought of going to take the bus to the nearest LRT then I thought of the money I'd be wasting.
In the end I walked to the station and took the train. Neighbourhood places are such hell-holes. I'm not looking down or anything. It's just so crowded, and dirty, and aunty-infested. I may become one next time, but ahhh, wait until then k.
We had stingray at a food court near Bukit Panjang for dinner and we had no choice but to sit at the Smoking area. I could literally feel my lungs clotted with tar and shit. Damn sick. I hate smokers.
Oh one of my life's ambition is to try all the BBQ stingrays over Singapore =D
Yummy.
The next day was Thursday and I met Tracy for lunch at NTU's South Spine canteen. Damn funny. We tried the chicken rice which had a bit of uncooked rice and chicken, seriously gross and then we decided to get the Soya Bean drink at the Mr Bean. I decided to get the Icy Soya Milk and then the cashier asked, "Do you want PEARLY??", in her China accent.
Immediately, I looked over at Tracy and she looked at me and we both burst out laughing. Tracy finally said, "One have, one don't have."
"Huh?" Again, China girl.
Me: "Er..one have Pearly, the other one don't add the Pearlys."
I love making fun of people. Bloody mean, I am.
Tracy and I kept laughing all the way. So we were walking to the Popular side and realised that there was this old suspicious-looking sofa behind the store, so we sat on the arm-rests, in fear of the old springs not being able to take our weight.
Had this strong urge to irritate my Tracy then.
"So how's your Pearly?"
That ends this post.

HAPPY DAY!
Today was supposedly my first day of school. Anyway, I was busy getting ready for school and when I left my room, all ready to leave, my mom said she'd fetch me there since their going IMM too. YAY.
So I was totally lost at school and for the first time I was quite glad that my parents made me go early. I saw Patrick Thongs there and he nicely came to help me. THANK YOU!!
Oh and I finally got a whiff of your "written sior". Me likey! ;)
Turns out that I don't have any lessons today! So by right my first day of school is this Thursday. Damn dumb. I still had a very bad sleepless night, tossing and turning in bed.
I only found out after this girl nicely came over to tell me there's no lesson today. I guess it's because she saw me knocking the door like mad and kicking it viciously. Guess she didn't want the poor door to be tortured.
Anyway, I was damn pissed with myself. I called my parents and they very very very nicely came all the way back to pick me up to IMM.
We had lunch there and we went to check out this computer shop which sold a lot of Apple products and started choosing the stuff. OMG. $1988 for the MacBook, which I'm using right now to type this post! And there are the pocket sleeve to carry around, the keyboard protector, screen protector and the crystal case thing, and last of all, this 2 in 1 wire or wireless mouse as freebies!!
Soooooooooo happy. Seriously. We actually were thinking about getting the stuff at SimLim instead because apparently my dad said he could get $50 less.
But the guy said the white mouse isn't available yet so they'll go collect it another day. Oh, happy day!
Alright, shall end here. Gotta go charge up the laptop already. BYE!

The Aftermaths of Drunkology.
I haven been busy watching Dexter throughout the weekend. I don't have the last two eps because apparently my 4gig thumbdrive couldn't fit in anymore eps. ARGH.
Anyway, I found an earlier slot for my BTT. Not sure if I have lessons around that time though. Ahhh.
I've been watching youtube vids of Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance. OH. MY. GOD. I so want to get the first album for MCR, 3 cheers for sweet revenge. And maybe I should go get The Black Parade again. Apparently, Desmond lost my album.
If you ask me, I'm really an OC on my books and CDs. I hate it if I lend you a book of mine and you don't take care of it, especially when they come back with wrinkles on their spines and creased covers. HEY! How about I give you a wrinkled spine, huh? Would you like it!? And my CDs. Eventhough I might just rip them then put them in my cupboard, now and then I take the dvds out and watch again, okay.
It's not like my paranoia of cleanliness. I think people close to me will know I'm quite particular about that. I can't describe it. I'm not particularly clean, but I really 100% hate smelly people, especially those who have body odour. I mean, like Walter said last time, it's a form of respect.
You don't want to breathe in other people's body odour right? And just so you know, body odour is a result of bacteria flying around out of your apparently disgusting clogged up sweat glands. And whatever shit. I totally hate people with body odour. Seriously, they are the number one people that I detest.
Maybe you can say it's not their fault. Some people are just genetically inclined to be born with it. Oh, why don't you say that we're supposedly supposed to be born in a society where our so-called educated culture demands you to at least do something about it! Like say, a BO removing surgery or something. Whatever, I don't care.
It gets to a point where I'll even shoot you totally digusting looks if I find out you're the BO man. Or woman. Trust me, I think I have a nose like a canine's.
It's so sensitive I even smelt my teacher's perfume before she even entered my class 15 seconds before when I was in primary school. Maybe she drenched herself in it but how about I can even smell the bloody durian smell on the 1st floor of my old place, even before I stepped into the house and find out that my parents actually ate the bloody durian already and brought the durian home through the basement and not the 1st floor!?
One important thing to note is that the basement is kinda open air, but even so! Not bad right. So I'm particularly sensitive to smells. Seriously. There was once this guy in my class who had such a delicious smell in my secondary school, and he sat in front of me during a mock exam. Well, you should know that I nearly fainted from it. And I got really hungry. Okay, this is wierd. Too personal!
Anyway, talking about cleanliness. I learned that alcohol throws off a lot of your inhibitions and I think it's probably very true. Like when I get really high, I ALWAYS need to pee and like the other day I used this hawker center's toilet and OHMYGOD. I swear its freaking filthy but I just peed on the squatting pan and leaned my head against the wall while relishing the release of a high tide.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
Can you even imagine all the disgusting HDB uncle and aunties like shitting then giving the ultra shiok face then start digging for gold in the two neighbouring cavities just below and in between their eyes!? And here comes the worst part. When they strike gold they give the super triumphant face and proceed to paste it on the soiled yellowish-white tiled wall!!!!!!
And imagine their little gold pieces getting stuck to my hair when I finish peeing and start grasping the wall to stand up with effort. Okay, now I want to puke.
Talking about drinking. I think I really am a hazardous drinker. In some ways to the immediate people around me. The first time I got drunk I nearly jumped into the Singapore River. And proceeded to kiss and hug almost anyone who came to help. Hnn. Okay, slot that embarassing memory into that door behind the shelf.
So. The second time I got drunk was with Tracy and Fatty. I tell you. It's all because of that horrendous china or japanese wine fatty chose. I never had a hangover worse than that next day. Whew. Well, that time there was a Merlion incident in my room. I puked on Tracy's hand. These are what true and best friends are for. Really.
So that night we drank, I wasn't even that high, until that horrible last freaking cup. I gulped it all down like some macho japanese man and just immediately lay back on the pooldeck chair and konked out. And after that some really hilarious thing happened and Tracy helped me back to my home. She stayed over that night. But when we got into the room and I was lying down on the bed. I just suddenly sat up like those zombie emerging from coffins in the movies and Tracy saw my "I-totally-need-to-puke-dude" face and she said, "Oh no. Oh no no no. Wener, wait, go to the toilet. No! Wait I find a bag!"
In my that highly drunk state of mind, I thought I saw her opening her bag. Hmm.
Anyway, I just leaned over the side of my bed and puked my stomach contents on the floor, and a bit of my bed sheet. Eews right. Tracy, at the same time, flew to my aide and tried to stopper my mouth with her hands. I love her. Seriously. I don't even know if I'll do that. Maybe I'll just like cup my hands below the puker but never so near the mouth! I tell you, this puking thing. It's a bonder of sorts. As in, a friendship bonding thing.
And after that she and I pulled out the sheets and she asked me what should she do with it. I calmly replied her(please remember that I'm drunk), "Throw it away."
Wow. My mother's $100 sheets. In the bin.
Then I tried thinking really hard after her, "HUH?!"
"Er...I think a not-drunk person would say stuff it in the bag and wash it tomorrow?"
Of course you should probably know my mother does not approve or know about my drinking habits, not that I drink very often. But still...
So the third time, and it happened quite recently before my dear Fatty went back to China and I was with him and Kai Mun, drinking under the block. We bought two bottles of wine. Just enought to get one slightly high but not drunk yet.
I was bloody talking in some american accent that I seriously couldn't get rid of! What the hell right!
Even Linan said I sounded quite real. I remember trying very hard to stop with the accent.
Wener's thoughts : "Come on, Singlish, where's my Singlish? Tan Wen Er, stop this."
And the funny part was Kai Mun trying to follow me with his cheena american accent. HAHA! Linan just sat back and laugh. Oh, after that I had a bet with Linan whether I could lift Kai Mun up. I just went behind that poor half-ass drunk guy and hugged around his tummy and heaved.
Turned out he went to heave out his puke along some pillar straight after that. And I specifically remember going to him when he was puking to tell him, "Hey, don't just puke in one spot. Why don't you puke other places as well??"
Seriously, pure entertainment or what?
Anyway, I found an earlier slot for my BTT. Not sure if I have lessons around that time though. Ahhh.

Seriously, pure entertainment or what?

a lil' piece of heaven, so don't burn in hell
Avenged
Excuse the obscene, ignore the untrue
Depictions we see try and get through
Admitting mistakes can hurt
I'm not the last but I sure ain't the first
Now that I've lost you it kills me to say
I've tried to hold on as you've slowly slipped away
I'm losing the fight
I've treated you so wrong now let me make it right
There's nothing here to take for granted
With each breath that we take
The hands of time strip youth from our bodies
And we fade
Memories remain
As time goes on.

Abaddon
I finally passed my evaluation. Okay, I had a phobia after taking the test before this and I was still sick, so I was like shivering but sweating like mad in the room, when it was supposed to be really cold. Anyway, after that I decided to go see the doctor 3 weeks ago. When I saw that I passed, my hands went up in joy and this guy sitting beside me gave me an odd look that literally said, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"
So I got up quickly and exited the room. To my horror, when I was trying to book the basic theory test before this, I found out that the only slot that I could take the test was in mid September!!!! HELLO! Whats wrong with you guys, want to waste my money so I have to renew my membership again is it!?
I don't want to start school. Don't wanna study. The only thing I'm looking forward to is getting a laptop! I kinda realised that 90% of the psychology people are girls, I mean I was expecting it, but whatever. Sometimes being around typical girls can be really boring, and bitchy. Darn.
I miss Fatty, he told me SIM told him they can't help him with his student visa because he's not from a government school, so he's stuck in China! I mean, I'm lucky it's not me. ME? Stuck in China!? If so, tomorrow headlines would be, "Girl hung herself in a public cubicle with a hole for a toilet bowl."
And isn't PJ a government school? I seriously don't get it. Hope he can come back soon :(
Anyway, I'm totally infatuated with this Zara shoe, looks like those high-cut canvas Converse shoes, but it's like white polyester or something. $75! Okay, aren't those converse shoes around that price too? Hoping to get it soon!
I bought this Masters of Deception book for $30++. It's about many well-known artists that does surrealist artworks that may or may not feature optical illusions. Like Salvador Dali, M. C Escher(my favourite!!) and more. I'm abit disappointed that it doesn't feature much of Rene Magritte's work. Love him!
Anyway, the book looks about $50++, so when I saw it I was like 'OMG I MUST BUY THIS!!'. I'm such a sucker for bargains. That day when I met up with Tracy and we went to town from NTU(freaking ulu, I tell you! The only redeeming part was that we actually sat on the MRT from Boon Lay all the way to Raffles Place) and we went to Cotton On and I was like immediately attracted to the bargain corner.
What the hell, I bought this dress for $7.50!!!!! I can literally hear all your, "SURE NOT!?", but yes, it's true. Just don't go looking for it and buying it so everybody has it. Anyway, Tracy and I made a point to always message what we're wearing out, just in case we both wear our that $9 top from Topshop and the $7.50 dress from Cotton On. Haha!
My eldest sister bought $2 T-shirts for my sis and I from Taiwan! Good deal huh. My second sister and I were quarrelling over the purple WONDER WOMAN tee but after relenting and passing it to her she nicely gave it to me! HAHA. Sankyu Erts.
Alright, I shall end here. Can't wait to meet Yeti on Sat :))
David
You held my hand
You walked away
You gave a kiss
You turned your back
I wanted everything
I gained nothing
I need this wish
I hoped to forget
Achieving nothing
Befriending Loneliness
Mind set positive
Failing miserably
Nightmares of monochrome
Tears shed in the morning light
Blood pools under the evening sky
Resenting this slumber from dusk til dawn
From dusk to dawn
And dawn to dusk
When can he sleep
To the land of wonders?

Funny happenings.
So Monday I left for johore with my parents and they decided to take the busssssssss.
OMG. In my whole life I've never taken the bus to Malaysia before and that was my first time. I nearly died. The kind of shitty and kinda gross people that take the bus! And the bus I took was quite dirty looking. The seat was still okay, the top and roof was freaking dirty.
Anyway, when I reached there, it felt like Cambodia all over again. My parents were damn paranoid and kept shouting for me to hug and hold on to my bag for dear life and to not stray too far away from them, but when we reached the shopping center of our destination, which was like quite near to the bus terminal, it felt slightly better. Except for the cigarette smoke-infested toilets. It looked quite high-class, just abit wet and erm, smelly. I sooo missed Singapore then.
I was quite sickened by the dirtiness of malaysia. I mean, I haven't been there for like quite a few years and since I recently went to Cambodia, somehow I feel that Malaysia is just as erm...dirty as Cambodia! I mean, I know Cambodia a third world country, but why is malaysia like that!!? Okay, other than that, there was this escalator which was horribly studded with cigarette butts and it seriously smelt freaking smelly!!! It was so dirty and filled with cigarette butts that it couldn't be operated!!!!!!!!! ARGH.
Okay, so I went there to highlight, rebond and erm cut my hair. OMG, 388 RM, which converts to about s$168! Good deal right? So I spent about 5 hours of my life at the salon, save for 2 toilet trips which cost me 40 cents ringgit. Actually, it cost my parents that amount, but whatever. Anyway, that trip on monday took my mind off some stuff. Felt depressed most of the time, but my parent's paranoia distracted me fro. everything back in Singapore. Haha.
OH. That day Tracy and I went to this talk at National Museum of Singapore for this talk called 'Sex and Crime in the City' by this NUS lecturer. Did you know that Singapore was the "Sin-Galore" for people to come for erm, cheap and 'multi-racial' sex? Something along that lines. There were even Japanese prostitutes here! And secret societies weren't banned by the British from the 1820s to 1889, because it so-called controlled and helped the local Chinese population which quadrupled in just a few years. Damn interesting.
The best part was that Tracy and I sat at the end of the rows of chairs to the right and there were two erm middle-aged ladies, apparently friends of the professor sitting behind us. And during the talk, I heard the tragically hilarious 'putttttttt' a few times. The second time I heard it, I turned to Tracy and she caught my eye, and we both couldn't take it anymore and started laughing, desperately trying to cover our mouths so it wouldn't make too much noise. The worst thing was that Tracy said she smelt something funny after that. HAHA!!!
So after that we hung around outside the museum and people-watched and this caucasian dad walked past us with a stroller and I saw that his kid had a thin-lined mustache drawn above his lips. I told Tracy and I guess he heard me. He was smiling and he said, "Yea, he haven't shaved for a while."
So damn cute right? And friendly. That's why I like caucasians. HA.
We walked to the Makansutra place at Esplanade and ordered our dinner. OH. MY. GOD. Guess what day was it. NATIONAL DAY PARADE REHEARSAL!!!! No wonder we saw so many army people on the way. And we got to see the parachuting dudes and airforce people doing their stunts. After these 2 pilots did a heart shape outlined by smoke or whatever thing that their planes released in the air, I concluded to Tracy that I so want a proposal like that, or or! Why not a pilot for a husband!? HAHA.
Tracy liked the one where the 2 pilots flew towards each other, like they were about to crash but they were just inches apart, one flying past above the other. SO BLOODY COOL.
Poor Tracy plucked out her wisdom tooth on Tuesday last week so she still had a bit of difficulty eating.
Anyway, after that we wanted to take the bus before it got really crowded from all the smelly NDP people going home. Okay, I can understand that you all perspired and all that from squeezing on the seats and ETC, it's not your fault, but you're still smelly. So we were desperately trying to find my bus stop and accidentally walked down to the one behind Marina Square, this army guy stopped us and a conversation went on like this.
Army dude: Er excuse me, where's your PASS?
Me: Huh? What pass, I want to take my BUS!
Army dude(with a perplexed look): What BUS? You need a PASS.
Me(finally realising they cordorned off that bus stop because that's where the stupid parade thing is at): Oh. Oh shit. Okay, sorry!!!!
So we like faster retreated back to the esplanade bus stop. And we were like laughing like mad after that.
Anyway, guess I should end here. I'm trying not to think about stuff. But somehow you just can't. I'm just hoping Fatty will be back soon. Hnn.

Jammert

YEEHAR!!!
Ohmygod. Finally I got the approval for my NUS appeal. Apparently my second sister said that my 1000 characters essay for NUS is like, nothing special. Tony said otherwise though. And I was like quite proud of myself after finishing up with the essay. DUH.
Anyway, I was more proud of my NTU transfer to Psychology 50 words essay. I had editing help and suggestions from my work colleagues and my eldest sis.
Part of it was "... ...my interest was piqued when I studied Salvador Dali's "World of the Unconscious recalled in Dreams", based on Sigmund Freud's Psychoanalytical Theory... ..."
Wa, not bad right?! Anyway, this shows how much Art lessons can bring you. So parents out there, stuff the canvas in your mouth if you think Art as a subject is useless!
Anyway, I was like quite torn between choosing NUS or NTU.
Pros and cons of NUS...
Pro no1: It's freakingggg near
Pro no2: FASS lets you study a wide range before majoring in what you're better and more interested in?
Con no1: I hate the elitist mentality there
Con no2: I don't want to see many people already studying there. Eews
Con no3: They don't have the Honors thing included with the degree course.
Okay, so the pros and cons of NTU...
Pro no1: Tracy's there!
Pro no2: It's a 4 year degree and Honors course
Pro no3: My parents said I could drive there when I've passed my driving. Yeeeeehar!
Pro no4: They don't have the 'elitist' attitude?
Con no1: It's freakinggggggggg far! 1 hour to get there k!? And stop saying I'm exaggerating.
Con no2: I heard Shawn the Asshole's studying there. Like, wtf.
Anyway, so I chose NTU because I'm still pissed off with NUS for not accepting me in the first place. Like why the hell did you bloody accept the BCCB and a B for GP when you could have accepted me?! Yes, I do bear grudges. I really do. HUH. Why did I have to be the one doing the bloody appeal when it should be her!!!!?
So if you're thinking that if my thinking about NUS is like that, why the hell in the first place did I spend the time to send in the appeal form right?! I just did it for the sake of doing it, besides the fact that it's near my house and all that, so that when they accept my appeal and all that shit I can get the feel of rejecting them. MUAHAHA!
And stop saying I got nothing else to do. I just DON'T believe that they rejected me in the first place because I so deserved to get a place there okay. Come on, compare my grades with her!!!!
And also, my parents think NTU's better, as in the course and all that, and I think it's better too.
OH YES!!!!!!!!! I applied for the driving course. I can't wait!!! Omg driving people, watch out for Tan Wen Er on the roads!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!~~~
Okay, shall end here. Bye!

FATTY COME BACK SOON!!!!!!!!!!!
I think my mother can sometimes be seriously hilarious without meaning to. One text message exchange went on like this a few days ago..
Me: MOMMY I'll be home late for dinner. Save dinner for me k? Ernie wants to ZUT your Nene! Haha!
Mommy(she replied this within a minute of receiving my message): Zut your own nene
HAHA! Ohmygod. It's freaking funny. I just bursted out laughing in my really quiet office. What a laugh!
Anyway, I know It's been a long time since I've last blogged. And remember I told you guys about the application to NUS and NTU thing? I got accepted into Sociology at NTU and I GOT REJECTED BY NUS!
NUS Arts and Social Science you know. Isn't that the supposed dumping ground? Okay, no offence to the straight As people applying and getting accepted there but whatever. I'm not sad you know. Seriously. I'm just bloody pissed because Sam told me her friend got in STRAIGHTAWAY, without interviews or whatever shit, with grades of BCCB and B for GP.
Hello? Am I missing something out here? And Sam got called down for interview too! I mean, okay sorry Sam, but how come my grades are better and I'm not considered!? Did I say, fell out of your QUOTA!? Eh, I live so near you, can give chance anot!?
The thing is, I can't understand why they will consider accepting a BCCB when they can accept my ACCB!!!!!!!!!!!!! And just so you are thinking about maybe they accepted her because of GP, my GP wasn't any worse with a B okay!!!!!?
Oh, maybe the subject combination? NO! I've checked and our's are about the same! And all because of NUS that I anyhow applied for the courses at NTU. Well, I've learnt the lesson of not being overconfident. But hey, how can you not be slightly confident when your chem teachers say that you sure can get in there, and oh, Tracy and my other friends saying that I'll sure get in there. That's not saying I'm blaming them though.
And it's not the CCA too. I'm sure of that.
PISS OFF!
Anyway, since the stupid sociology webpage at NTU kinda fooled me into putting it as my first choice and psychology as second, I'm trying to transfer to psychology now. Tracy and my work colleagues read my 50 word so-called essay reason for appeal said that it looked not bad. I must really thank them for helping me out.
The worse thing was I found out I got rejected by NUS when I just met my dear Fatty for dinner. It's his last day here in a month. Stupid immigration people screwed up his extension of visa. And I was complaining throughout about NUS and how if I applied there and got approved I'll vandalise their walls there everyday. I had a fantastic time with him at the chalet though. Although there were only a few people who came.
Oh my mom was like, "ER AH, are you sure you want to do Psychology!? Have to be with the crazy people you know! So dangerous!"
I kinda countered her with, "Ma, Crazy people should work with Crazy people. Yi du gong du mah."
Then she gave me the "SURE ANOT!?" look and continued watching her HK drama.
Apart of me already feel resigned to go to NTU, that NUS wouldn't accept my appeal. The only reason I'd want to go there is because it's so bloody near my house and FASS like lets you study a range of the subjects before really choosing which major you want. Anyway, my sister said that the psychology course offered at NTU is better because it's a 4 year degree and honours course. Somehow, I kinda dread writing a thesis. Ahhh. I just hope I get the approval for transfer. I shall try appealling for NUS too.
But another part of me feel like, why should I appeal!? It's their fault for rejecting me! Ya, but the decision is so not up to me. So what the heck. I hate the system at NUS, it's so slow! I mean, want to reject can tell me earlier right. Don't make me wait like until the last minute what! Bloody hell. Still tell me what, "due to the strong competition and high numbers of applicants we had to reject many candidates". Are my grades worse than your accepted BCCB!? Stupid piece of shit. It is not logical!
If I go to NTU, well, I can be in close proximity with Tracy and Tony I guess. And at least the system there not so yaya. But it takes like an hour for me to get there! I hate sweating.
I went Tracy's house for dinner yesterday. Her mom cooked spagetti. Really good because she didn't put in a lot of mince meat, which I really hate, and she added like a ton of hotdogs in there. Shiok, that' the word for it.
I kinda got lost because I forgot which platform to take at the LRT. I can't believe it. Just moving 3 months here made me forget! And I went to the wrong floor. I went to the 11th, instead of 10th when I saw a doormat in front of the door which I thought was her house but supposedly isn't. I didn't dare face the embarrassment so I thought I'd double check by going down a floor. Then I saw her neighbour's plot of little windmills and fence so I figured that it's actually the 10th. I really miss hanging out with my Tracy Lee!
And I'll so miss Fatty too! I think he's like the best shopping partner. Hope to hear from you soon!
OHMYGOSH I MUST SO TELL YOU ABOUT THE CHALET AND THE LIZARD THAT HAUNTED OUR ROOM. Because we didn't book a BBQ pit I had to drag along my that portable steamboat and the damn pot and the can of butane gas which I was so horrified about if it'd explode on the MRT. Anyway, Fatty decided to move the table that's against the wall, below the mirror and the minute he moved it, a big fat lizard ran out and hid behind the mirror!
Fatty tried to scare it into coming out by hitting the mirror but it didn't budge. So we left it there until the next day when Benson and Sam left for army and work and we were about the go out when I suggested to Fatty that we should kill that lizard. So I asked Fatty to use the empty 1 litre Ice Mountain bottle to hit the lizard. He whacked at the mirror a few times but it still hid behind there! So anyway, we left and at night when we came back and I was lying on my bed and about to reach for my pillow when I saw 2 black spots on Sam's pillow beside my bed!
I took it gingerly and OMG! The bloody lizard shat on the pillow to take revenge on us! 2 times some more! I was damn horrified, what if it's hiding in my blankets!? What if it roams out at night and shit in my hair while I'm sleeping!? Anyway, Linan beat the pillow on the wall to shake off the shit and there were 2 spots around the beaten off shit. It's like the pee can. Damn gross. We wanted to leave it and not tell anyone else about it except Sam, so the other people that Benson brought would use it! HAHA!!!
The minute his friends came one of the guys took the pillow and hugged it! Sam and I could barely contain our laughter. Anyway, we didn't tell them, so..
Alright, shall end here. Wanna watch Pushing Daisies! Yay. Ned's damn cute. He used a wooden pole with a hand attached to it's end to scratch his dog! HAHA! He looks a bit like Edward Norton, too. Okay, bye!

It doesn't even matter
I've just watched God is Green on Channel News Asia. It's not bad. It was funny how they showed human beings as selfish, ignorant and non-permanent on Earth. It made me feel kinda suicidal and feel like going to the hardware shop for fertiliser and other bombing gadgets.
It just made me feel so self-loathing, for myself and everyone else. Sometimes I think, why do our government even try to boast about our 'fine' academic system when we're not educating ourselves enough about overpopulation instead of our supposed 'underpopulated' state, pollution and shitcares what other things we're dumping on Mother Earth? If anyone knows me well enough, they'd know I'm a very environmental kind of person. A student in Singapore uses an average of 1.5metre tall of paper per year, and maybe more. That includes your textbooksssss. Look what another 10000 kids might do to our forests.
Anyway, there was this time when my work colleague asked 2 of my other female colleagues and I about how we feel about abortion. Like say if we had this child with Down's Syndrome, what would we do with it. Immediately, they said they'll give birth to it. I say 'it'.
I didn't voice my opinion because I know they think that I'm a kid and on previous occasions and they'd say I'd change my mind about 'adult stuff' in the future.
I was thinking that if it really happen to me, I'd abort it. Ya ya I know, it's a life and all that. HUH. What about people who use contraceptive methods and all those other millions of sperms die without fertilising the stupid egg?! You don't think they're living, do you? Like us, they need nutrients to live. That's what the semen's for! So if you really feel that abortion is a serious no-no, then stop masturbating or having sex. Okay, right now I'm just pissed off.
Then he questioned me, what if there's a war and I got raped. I'd still abort it, I think. I don't know. I might not be prepared. And maybe everytime I look at the kid's eyes I'd think of the raping encounter. And I don't even like kids. And I also know that our Earth is already being overpopulated by humans, what more will that child leave on Earth? Discover another mathematical equation like Einstein? Or what about the massive carbon footprint he'll leave on our atmosphere? Seriously, I really think we don't need any extra people on Earth.
I'm cynical, I know. I'm cruel, too. Cruelly practical. No matter how Singapore or Netherlands may say that we're facing an underpopulation of human beings crisis, I don't pity us. Because underpopulation only relates to the bloody economy that the government may try to get us feel affected by it through saying that we have less chance of being supported by when we're old. Maybe, maybe not.
Economy = Money = Greed
This is where we're getting at. Everyone wants to enjoy a good quality of living. But at what bloody expense? I know not everyone is made to be delibrately guilty of these things I say, but I'M JUST PISSED.
I'm pissed like after I watched The Inconvenient Truth.
I'm pissed like I was after I watched Sharkwater.
And after you've watched and seriously UNDERSTAND enough to empathise, you'd feel that if there is a God, then he created us for nothing.
I don't believe in God. I might be insensitive, but I seriously don't care. You might say that he does have a reason for creating us. Er ya, by allowing us to evolve and become too intelligent for our own sake? Our intelligence actually equates to our downfall, our stupidity. Animals don't exploit. Animals don't take more than what they need from Nature. I use the word 'evolve', because I really believe in it, despite what many religions may believe that evolution contradicts their beliefs.
So Charles Darwin, I'm behind you all the way.
It really amused me to see what this cardinal guy in the Vatican elusively avoiding the host's question about climate change in his Bible and it's seems almost obvious he's not doing anything about what his post in there requires him to do. Is it? Or is it not?
Talking about Religion. I always feel really sad during the seventh month, to see the billions of chinese on Earth burning those gold foil papers and offering incense to pay respect to their ancestors. Somehow it has always striked me odd that would God want us to add further pollution/CO2 to Earth? I don't think so right.
When I say humans are non-permanent, I mean it. I mean, don't you think at the rate at we're going, our constant need for improvement, the constant need for electricity and technology, our way of thinking of living only for the present moment, will have us killed, destroyed. Our pro-creating wouldn't matter anymore. Underpopulation and getting to work, making the grade, wouldn't even matter.
What's the use when we're creating a path of not only our own, but our children and our children's children destruction?
Look at our state of future non-permanence.
Think about it.

GHOST!
Here's a ghost story that Tony told me on the train.
You know there's this big old Bungalow in Seng Kang that for many years the government haven't demolished? Nobody has been staying in it for a long time but there will always be this guard that has his shift from 8pm to 8am. 12am would be his supper-time and so there was this day like any other day that he started to gobble down his lunch at 12am. After he finished eating, he decided to start to do his rounds.
There are 5 guard posts in the area itself. When he was walking to the first guard post, he saw something oblong and white, vertically floating and following him. He could see it at the corner of his eye. You know, when like erm, Malays have to be buried, they have to be wrapped up, like a 'sweet', as Tony says. Anyway, it looked like a wrapped-up ghost was following him. The guard was damn bloody scared so he spun around to look at the ghost.
But the minute he turned, it wasn't there anymore!!!!!!!!!!! OHMYGOD right. Okay, anyway, he started to walk to the 2nd post. It was still following him. But everytime he turned, it would disappear and the guard was damn scared. So he walked on to the 3rd, 4th post when all this while the stupid ghost was like following him and he could see it at the corner of his eyes.
By the 4th guard post, he was damn bloody scared. He couldn't take it anymore so he ran to the 5th post and continued running to a toilet nearby.
When he finished peeing (actually I don't know why he still have the mood to pee, but it's part of the story la.), he decided for once to wash his hands. And even when he was peeing, he could see the wrapped-up thing following him. Watching him peeing. Perverted ghost. He was washing his hands when he thought, "Hey, maybe if I look into the mirror, I'd see the ghost!" So he looked into the mirror and guess what he saw...
A RICE GRAIN STUCK AT THE CORNER OF HIS EYE.
HAHAHAHA! Damn funny can!? When Tony told me about this story, I bursted out laughing on the train and remained highly amused for the remaining of the trip to Cityhall! I mean, if you try putting a finger at the corner of your eye, it really looks like right! HAHA. I can imagine people trying right in front of the screen now man. LOL. The funny thing is, how come it can be stucked there like so long, even when he ran to the toilet!? HAHA!
My Grandma dreamt about my Aunt's dead husband. Damn creepy. It's true somemore. Tell you guys another time.
Mein Herz wird nicht aufhören zu schlagen, wenn ich Sie anschaue,
würden Sie mir nicht erzählen, wenn Sie wissen?

YEA!

Ernie's so cute! I chose this picture because he looks just like a hamburger! Oh, it's taken on the tour bus in Cambodia.
Fatty and Tracy accompanied me to IT'S HAIRY! to "awesomify" my hair. I'm officially cornrowed man! Stupid Facebook's screwed up. Keep trying to upload the photo but I can't get past the bloody Home page. DUH.
Anyway, it was quite painful. And I can take pain okay. The hair sculptor started off with pulling like 4/5 strands of my hair, pressing it down and continued to the end. I had to lie with my head flat on one side and after that, I had this crink in my neck that I'm still suffering from today. They were saying my scalp was like totally red after that. I mean, the tears kept springing up in my eyes.
Living with cornrows let me appreciate my otherwise plain-like rebonded hair. Because I have like 3 cornrows on each side of my head, the left and the right, I must be careful about sleeping on my side. Also, shampooing. Damn dangerous stuff, I tell you. Have to like, PAT PAT, PAT PAT with the shampoo that somehow leave you feeling unclean still.
And if you feel like when you're in an open coffeeshop and suddenly your scalp's damn itchy, you can't like smack your head, or like frantically scratch your dandruff-riddled scalp to free that unfortunate fly, if there really is one trapped there. You have to like scratch the partings and it leaves you totally unsatisfied with the cure for the itch man.
Tracy says it looks cool, almost Predator-ish. When I tie up my hair, I have glimpses of the slaves hunters of Apocalypto. Too bad for my chubby white face. Destroys the whole 'cool' look can. Ahhh.
Oh, on a last note. Each cornrow costs $20. I had 6 done, so its $120. It lasts only for about 2 months. Because your hair will grow and the cornrows will get loose so you just have to untie it.
Alright, I'm dreading work again. BYE!

Back!
I'm back from Cambodia! Well, at first I wasn't really looking forward to it and I kept dreaming about doing office work. As in actual work. I wonder how my brain think about all those ISO processes when I'm sleeping. Weird. Anyway, I met Tony last Saturaday before I left and we watched The Bucket List and bumped into Walter at Lido! After that I met up with Fatty, Tracy and Kai Mun. We ate at some place and rushed off to BJ for some really stupid movie called Jiang Shan Mei Ren.
I'd really like to complain about the show. I think it's as bad or even worse than that 10000 BC. OMG firstly, Kelly Chen was horrible. I know my chinese sucks but ohmygod, I've got nothing to say. The plot was horrible, Leon Lai's presence was kinda like just a stupid extra role they added in for romance and I think they really overlooked Donnie Yen's role. The fighting was great but the romance was hilarious. Dialogue sucked like a mad pig and we four were laughing at the 'romantic' parts.
Anyway, about 10000BC. I think the show was a flop. Damn horrible. I booed when the mammoths were GALLOPPING, I booed when the saber-toothed tiger appeared in that town near/in Africa and booed even louder when the blue-eyed girl got brought back to life.
WHY?! I'll tell you why. Mammoths have to run, with at least 3 feet on the ground at one time! So maybe it's not really running but like brisk-walking? And Saber-toothed Tigers were found during the ice-age. AFRICA!? And the last one. Damn stupid. Why does the girl have mascara on!!!!!!? I mean, when she was crying there were streaks of smudged mascara on her cheeks.
If my mom were there, she'd say, "HAO SEOU!". She kinda explained it to mean good semen or something like that, when it actually means 'that's so bloody far-fetched!'.
Mascara you know! Okay, maybe the egyptians had that eye thing they drew to represent the eye of horus to symbolise you know, wholeness, healing, strength and perfection. I saw this pseudo-egyptian that appeared during prom last year. HAHA!
Anyway, after that we went home and I had to wake up at 2.30am to get to the airport for my flight at 6am. Damn horrible. I was like half-dead. We took the flight by Jetstar and it felt much better than SIA. There's this really gross smell in SIA that makes me have very very bad air-sickness.
Well, reaching there our tour-guide was waiting for us and we went to some restaurant for the well-known glass-noodles. It tasted not bad. There was even the chicken taste in the noodles! But I was thoroughly appalled by the cleaning. When we approached this table, this waitress used her cloth to sweep the food on the table to the floor and there once when she sweeped this piece of meat to the floor near my shoe, in between my legs. I had to like jumped with my legs far apart to avoid her incoming flying-meat assault. Damn sick. There was food on the chair that after seeing my disgusted face she moodily sweeped it off to the floor.
After that, we went to Angkor Wat. It was damn bloody hot! The tour guide said it'd be almost 43 degrees celsius in midday and it wasn't even midmorning. I nearly died of over-sweating if anyone can die of that. Angkor Wat's a really nice place and I can understand why it's one of the seven wonders of the world. Anyway, we're in Siem Reap for the first 2 days and it's much better than Phom Phenh to me, since it's much more tourist-friendly.
We stayed at Angkor Holiday Hotel. Cambodia's really dry, hot and arid. When we were trying to get back onto the bus, there were kids trying to sell us stuff and because I didn't have any money then I couldn't buy anything and there were pleading and jostling me around I nearly couldn't get onto the bus! My favourite Guess shirt was like a darker brown from all my sweat when it's already a dark brown color.
Then we went to this Ta Phrom temple where one part of Tomb Raider was filmed and it was really nice! It's famous for the trees growing on the roofs of the temples, causing them to collapse. Then we went to this place called Thousand faces of Buddha I think. It was damn nice.
That night we had a full body massage. It was only like 12 USD!!!!!!!!!!! And there was this promotion thing going on, so it was only like 7+, 8 dollars! Damn cheap okay! I mean, if you convert back to Sing dollars, it'd only be like S$9!!! The funny thing was, we thought we'd have to be like fully naked so after I bathed I had my towel wrapped around me but it kept dropping off, so my sister and I chose to put on our pyjamus. But my mom was the first to finish with her bathing so she was sleeping with the towel wrapped around her.
The people came and when we asked, "Er..need to take off clothes?"
"No no no no!! No take off!"
And my mother didn't have time to wear back her clothes so she got her massage wearing her towel. I kept bursting out with laughter mid-massage because sometimes it involved like huge movements where the person would stretch your body quite vigorously and I was desperately hoping that my mom's towel would fall off. Amazingly, it didn't fall off throughout that hour! Well, that was the end of the first day there.
I'm still in the 'I'm in Cambodia' mood. I just hate the dirtiness and the weather there. But other than that Phom Phenh was worse in terms of cleanliness and security so ya. The stuff there is so bloody cheap!
I'll continue another day. My father's trying to Skype me and I'm trying to film my mom's boobs. HAHA!
