Heartbeat of Uganda
They tread lightly barefoot on the rough dry ground,
Staying away from the child soldiers in the bush.
The fear of murder, the fear of death.
Their right to live, their right to play,
Whose right is it to chose who leaves and stay?
Seeking safe shelter at hospitals in the nights,
Selfless nomads they leave by day.
Owning nothing, only themselves,
Their days are treasured, as one's survival's assured.
Little has been done, where's the justice now?
Children of Uganda, the Rebels don't allow.
